Welcome!
This week’s theme is Wellness and Wellbeing, in all aspects of life and work. With our workplaces somewhat disjointed and many of us blending home and work like never before, attending to our wellness and wellbeing has become even more critical to our abilities to both survive and thrive during the current times and beyond.
Wellbeing and wellness can be used interchangeably or be defined somewhat distinctly. The terms can resonate very differently with various people or groups. And, regardless of your specific definition of either term, your overall health is crucial to you living your best life and bringing your best self to your work and workplace. We believe strongly in nurturing and supporting wellness and wellbeing in all aspects of our lives. Centering around our mental, emotional and physical health is crucial in building a strong core foundation, enabling us to adapt to and maintain resilience in whatever comes our way.
To this end, we are excited to announce our upcoming Women’s Wellness and Wellbeing Series beginning November 10 and meeting every Tuesday through December 8. More information will be forthcoming later this week, including how to register!
Please think about joining our Wellness and Wellbeing Group, and as you begin your week, contemplate these questions:
How do you define wellness? Wellbeing?
How do you know if your wellness or wellbeing alignment is crooked or off-course?
How often do you intentionally prioritize your wellness and wellbeing? What might you do to increase that even a small amount?
Why is your wellbeing and wellness important to you? To others?
As you embark on this new week, think about these questions and how you can further define and embrace your own wellbeing and wellness in all aspects of your life. For those who lead teams within organizations, how can you help ensure that members of your team are attending to their individual and collective wellbeing?
Join us each day on Facebook (@CoreEndeavors) as we explore Wellness and Wellbeing and share insights that can contribute to us all living healthier and more well-balanced lives.
Mindful Monday: We will share some mantras and/or meditations to help you center around your Wellness and Wellbeing. Mindfulness and meditation have been proven to contribute to our overall health and we hope to help you build up your practice.
Touchbase Tuesday: We will explore the questions of the week, share thoughts and stories about the theme, and challenge you to prioritize your health as you navigate the world.
Wellness Wednesday: Midweek we will share some inspiration and tips or tools that will help you focus on you and/or your team in supporting overall Wellness and Wellbeing.
Thriving Thursday: On Thursday we will release our weekly blog and share some additional insights surrounding Wellness and Wellbeing at Home and Work and the questions posed earlier in the week.
Flowing Friday: We will look back and reflect on the week, asking what’s your “one thing” that you will do differently going forward regarding Wellness and Wellbeing and encouraging you to celebrate your growth and accomplishments this week.
Sarcastic Saturday: We will share something funny related to our weekly theme--something to get you laughing and inspire you to have fun through the weekend.
And, as we do each week, we will publish the next week’s theme, questions to ponder and scheduled postings and events on Sunday evening.
